The Team is working with Racesource on a new chassis design for The Patriot. The chassis that is currently on M2D Camo Thunder wll get the Patriot’s current chassis fabricated also by Paublo Huffacker at RaceSource. The current chassis on M2D Thunder is 15 years old and is need of a replacement. This swap will require both trucks to be fully overhauled meaning everything is coming off and put back together with new clean welds and bolts. Lots of work and long days and nights ahead of us!

Update
February 10, 2010

Our 4th week saw two major changes from the last 3 weeks. One being the heavy rains before the show and no Patriot. That’s right we swapped the body on Patriot to Donkey Kong for some sponsorship obligations for the weekend.

In qualifing we had a real good opportunity to see how challenging the track was going to be. It seemed that the slower you went the faster the times were. We did are best to get around the track with both trucks qualifing in the middle of the pack. As usual with the SoCal style track, the left lane was the winner all night. Both trucks fell short on making it to the semi finals.

Andrew in tropical thunder put on a great freestyle show considering the conditions and filled the clock with a 22. A few trucks later and it was Dannys turn to hit the floor in Donkey Kong. Hitting everything on the floor and trying to get enough speed to clear all the obsticles, Danny finished the run with a 26 to take the lead in freestyle. He was later edged out from the great run by Chad in Grave Digger. Another great weekend to finish our 4 weeks in SoCal.
